September 26th Announcments

CONFIRMATION meets Wednesdays beginning with Vespers at 6:30 p.m. followed by classes for grades 5-8. An adult class will start in mid-October.
WED MORNING BIBLE STUDY:  Men’s Bible Study meets Wednesdays at 8:00 a.m. followed by the Ladies’ Bible Study at 9:30 a.m. (note change in time for the Ladies).
OCTOBERFEST has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 16, beginning at 5:00 p.m.  This is an annual tradition at Holy Cross.  Brans, Buns, Drinks and Table Service will be provided.  There is a signup sheet in the Narthex for food and volunteering.
THE VOTER’S MEETING scheduled in September will be rescheduled for some time in the next few weeks. This is an important meeting that includes approving the budget for 2022 and electing officers and filling vacant board positions.

GIVE VIA VANCO:  Give+ is being retired by Vanco on October 1st and is being replaced with Vanco Mobile.  Download the Vanco Mobile app on your phone or table (iOS App Store or Google Play Store). Follow the instructions and you control the amounts and the frequency of giving, including just a one-time offering. You can even designate categories, such as the building fund. If a category you need is not listed, contact John Feldt via phone or at treasurer@holycrosscarlisle.org to have it added. There is no fee to you or to the church. This is supported by Vanco, the organization that handles several members’ electronic giving. In addition, you can give via Vanco online.
